The program bombs out when I try to enter the root chord. I get a
+++ ERROR: No such file, and the program goes into an infinite loop.
The chord selection will have worked, however the next step in the input routine is to list the contents of the /aircraft/airfoil directory. If this directory doesn't exist, the code will hang. Make sure the /aircraft/airfoil directory is installed - redo the installation and select "keep file structure" in our unpack program. A checker for this is included on the update list.
The cause could also be if there is a space in your directory name. -full list- . Matlab won't allow this, so please remove any spaces in the tornado associated file tree branch.
Documentation
Generating documentation for Tornado is a topic currently in need of further funding. There exists an older manual for version 100 (released in 2001), some items there are still valid, and you may have an idea on coding philosophy, but in general the manual is obsolete.
